Sinclair is Two!

I can't believe the title of this post. My baby is two! She loves to say that she is two. She says it with such enthusiasm. This little girl is so unique. She is full of energy and doesn't stop (which makes for a tired prego mommy). Her smile is so contagious. She started as such a stone-face girl but has turned into friendly and smiley. She loves parties...especially birthday parties. She says so many things these days. Repeats so many things, too. She's quite bossy with her favorite command being "come on." She loves for you to be apart of whatever she's doing.

This morning as I reflected on her and prayed (while she was busy watching Curious George), I read this verse: "Establish my footsteps in Thy word, and do not let any iniquity have dominion over me." (Psalm 119:133)

Hebrew Meanings:

Iniquity: sin, vanity, falsehood, nothingness (Oh how great would it be for that to not have dominion over her!)

Establish: to stand firm, steadfast, faithful

Have Dominion: to rule over someone, to give power over something

I prayed that verse over Sinclair. She is determined and focused. I pray that God will use those qualities for His glory--that she would be established and firm in His word. I was ruled over by falsehood and nothingness for so long. I would love it if she didn't struggle the way I did.

As exhausting as it being a mother is, it is an honor to be given the responsibility to raise this sweet girl.
